Newtons law of inertia is a great description of humans in general and may be how you feel when thinking about getting fit - resistant to move, lazy or cruising along in your set routines. This could be you because the mountain looks too high to climb; information overload so you don't know where to start; or your training has hit a plateau and you don't know how to change this.

The Department of Fit is dedicated to helping more people to get the body they want, the simplest & most efficient way. In the process, you will gain a better understanding of your body. We will school you as to what is important in your training & nutrition and in the long run, how to train yourself to get the results you desire.


Our trainers are degree qualified and possess years of experience in fitness & sport. They will use their

knowledge to maximise your results. At the Department of Fit, you will work alongside your dedicated trainer to achieve your objectives.

The process starts with your complimentary consultation. We will gather the facts of your current fitness levels, injuries, limitations and your eating habits to tailor your training programme. 

Your 1-2-1 sessions will focus on your objectives but we like to look at all facets of training; strength, power, agility, balance, flexibility, mobility, cardiovascular & strength endurance, co-ordination and for the sport specific trainees, the effects on your sports performance.
